KEEPING SANTA GREEN

George Stryker, right, Ocean County Building & Grounds Landscape Supervisor. shows
Freeholder Director Joseph H. Vicari the energy-friendly trimming lights which will
be used on the official county tree this year. Vicari, said the decision to use the
LED (light emitting diode) lights was an easy one as they last longer, shine better
and, most important, use far less energy to do the same job. The lights will make
their debut December 3 at 4:45 pm when the tree is officially lit on the west lawn
of the County Administration Building in Toms River.
