ENJOY YOUR JULY 4th VACATION - LOCALLY

TOMS RIVER -- Freeholder Director Joseph H. Vicari reports that the shore and mainland communities will be going full blast over the July 4th holidays with not only fireworks but also parades, craft shows, concerts and car shows.

Director Vicari has urged the public to attend one of the many commercial fireworks’ displays and not to use illegal fireworks.

“We want to have a safe and happy July 4th. There are so many choices of fireworks displays around the county that it does not make sense to risk life and limb. Nobody involved in a fireworks tragedy thinks it is going to happen to him or her,” Vicari said.
