Freeholder Joseph H. Vicari, left, presents a plaque to Steve Steiner who served the past two years as chair of the Ocean County Tourism Advisory Council. Steiner, who is producing artistic director of the Surflight Theatre in Beach Haven was praised by Vicari not only for the vision, talent and enthusiasm he brought to the council but also his willingness to share those attributes through dedicated leadership. Steiner has been active in both the tourism and arts communities at the local, regional and state level. The council advises the freeholders on matters relating to tourism.
